This relatively small backyard space located in the Town of Maple, the City of Vaughan, was transformed into various garden "rooms" through the use of detailed built-form elements. The main focal point for the garden is a large-scaled outdoor fireplace. Designed and built to compliment to new Tuscan style house, it also effectively blocks the neighbour behind. The garden has 2 different levels, the upper being a terrace podium as there is an underground garage beneath it. A rough-sawn post and beam arcade wraps around this space defining it as a de facto Garden Room; flowering vines twist up thin threaded from Trough Planters, thereby providing a tantalizing filtered view of the pool area.
