The homeowners love green, but recognized that their old kitchen, with cabinets painted dark green, was dated and somewhat claustrophobic. With this update, they opted for cream cabinets with a glaze to bring out the panel details, and a custom concrete countertop in their favorite shade of green. The backsplash is a now discontinued Walker Zanger tile, Silver Brook Slate; however Udaipur quartzite is very similar with shades of green, gray, gold and silver.
