This garden started with a blank slate. The garden only had one young tree and a piece of thirsty grass that builder put in. I redesigned it with NWF native habitat guidelines and CA guidelines for fire-smart and drought tolerant landscapes. Fire-proof succulents thrive in this desert. An irrigation system keeps borders lush and creates a garden oasis.
