This new seaside house on Cape Cod is designed to convey a sense of solidity and timelessness. The towers anchor the front of the house to the site while framing the main front door. The covered breezeway connects the house to the guest space above the garage and creates a rainy day playroom upstairs for the children. The main rooms of the house are arranged along the expanse of water to frame their own views.

The photos show the wealth of detail which has been tucked around the coastal house to make it welcoming and functional. Many traditional New England details have been incorporated in updated fashion. Storage and utility spaces have been arranged away from the water views. Truly a house that will be a legacy to the family!
