Oceanside Transitional White Kitchen Full Design and Renovation

This 1950's original beach cottage needed a total redesign and remodel. The floor plan was manipulated to give this growing family all the space they needed, in all the right places! The kitchen was enlarged, the master bathroom expanded, and all of the interior spaces received new, high end finishes. All of the plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems were replaced with new, high efficiency products.

This galley kitchen was dark and half the size when we started. Once we opened up the space, brought in natural light, added counter space and storage space, this kitchen functions great for this growing family!

The double sinks offer his and hers comfort and storage solutions. The wall sconces offer both light and an element of sophistication. The round mirror shape was a deliberate choice to keep with the vintage feel of the home.

the toilet was previously in the middle of the room. We moved the interior wall 36" into the bedroom in order to move the toilet into a more private location. The continuous wainscoting gives dimension and length to the room.
