Seat wall halfway around fire pit crowns the upper terrace of Belgard pavers in an ashlar pattern. That pattern was continued around the pool deck. Pool Entry showing stairs from upper terrace. The space works great with inside/outside areas including additional kitchen/hot tub/ and fireplace under shelter and large terrace for entertaining groups before stepping down to pool area.

Ipe stairs go down to the main terrace past a sitting area down concrete steps over to the pool deck or left to the outdoor kitchen and raised deck eating area which includes the 8 person fire dining table.

The Rosetta wall planters make for a nice transition/separation between the large indoor/outdoor terrace (which is overlooked by a long veranda above).

Sweeps of Surefire Begonias really pop against the muted colors of the pool surroundings. You can see a portion of the 12 high walls that were necessary because of the slope.

Paver walkway with bluestone border shows the way from the garage to the pool area. We chose a modern fencing style that would be somewhat see-through look while meeting code.

Walkway from pool/patio area to garage required new stonework including ledgestone steps. Hydrangeas, roses, blue plumbago and russian sage beautify the entrance walk.

Raised dining deck by J.S. Hersman Builders works well to provide a sectional 'room' for formal dining while still being at poolside.

Highlighter here is the morning sitting area just off the steps from the upper great room which overlooks the pool area.

This view shows the connection between the protected multi-season room which includes the spa, fireplace etc.

The ipe steps up to the walkway or to the stairs up to the great room. Large limestone outcropping stone was used here for retaining the small slope.

This view shows the relative positions of pool and formal dining deck. From the raised deck you can get a great view of the pool area and even watch a soccer game twelve feet below.
