Perched high above the Salcombe coastline, this stunning five-storey home underwent a complete glazing transformation as part of an extensive renovation. Designed to embrace its spectacular waterfront setting, the project focused on opening up the property to uninterrupted sea views while ensuring the glazing could withstand the challenges of an exposed coastal environment.

Working alongside Harrison Sutton Partnership, we supplied and installed a bespoke collection of slim-framed sliding doors, frameless glazing elements, and aluminium casement windows throughout the home. The result is a light-filled contemporary residence that makes the most of its exceptional location.

One of the primary goals of the renovation was to create a seamless visual connection between the interior spaces and the dramatic Devon coastline beyond. Large sliding glass doors were installed across several levels of the property, opening onto terraces and outdoor living areas while framing panoramic sea views.

The ultra-slim framing allows the focus to remain on the changing landscape, flooding the interiors with natural daylight and creating an effortless transition between inside and out.

Homes in exposed seaside locations require glazing that performs as beautifully as it looks. Every glazing system within this project was carefully specified to provide exceptional durability, weather resistance, and thermal performance.

High-performance solar control glass helps regulate internal temperatures during warmer months while maintaining crystal-clear views of the coastline. Marine-appropriate finishes were selected throughout, including elegant bronze anodised aluminium, chosen for both its sophisticated appearance and long-term resilience in coastal conditions.

The completed renovation successfully balances modern design with practical performance, creating a home that feels connected to its surroundings in every room. Expanses of glass capture breathtaking coastal views from every level, while the carefully curated glazing package ensures comfort, efficiency, and durability for years to come.
