A client asked if I could help them find a way to add a fireplace to their outdoor patio without taking up much if any of their space. Key on their list was preserving their view. I met and talked with them, chalked out approximate shapes and options, then drew up a few sketches from our meeting. I am providing the sketches so you can walk through the process.
