This project is located in McLean, VA. The clients requested a new outdoor space of a screened porch that was easy to access from the main living area, included space for a hammock, and "looked as if it had always been there". While it was constructed 12 years after the main home was built, it seamlessly integrates into the existing home. The exterior patio was modified and enlarged to fit with the new architecture and an outdoor grill was added.

This project was recently awarded the Grand Prize in the Velux 2016 "Why Skylights?" Contest
