The Park Avenue house, situated in the heart of Hyde Park, was intended to be a simple remodel. However, it became clear during the design process that the original house was unfortunately not in a condition to remain. The resulting new build was designed with the original structure in mind by loosely echoing its proportions and style. Reclaimed wood from the original structural are used throughout the house, further cementing its relationship with its past. The resulting structure is simultaneously freshly modern and comfortingly familiar.
