A single story home stretched horizontally across the street facing elevation, the horizontality of the plan is emphasized by lines of the overlapping flat roofs at the intersection of public and private wings of the home. The clusters of spaces are divided by view corridors with large vertical windows overlooking the 1.3 acre site. Rather than the common white color scheme the project explores more natural looking materials and tones to better blend in with the wooded surroundings of Parkland.
