This Pasadena house designed by Wallace Neff required a kitchen update but needed to retain it's original historical charm. I really enjoyed working closely with the owners and together we redesigned the space, opening up the eating nook and back door/laundry area. These changes let in more light and extended the kitchen cabinetry creating longer work surfaces. Appliances were carefully chosen not to overpower the room with modern technology.
I've since found out that it was either a new car or this kitchen, ask any financial guru and they'll tell you that you made the right choice - a kitchen is a much better investment!
