Peach | Full home remodel

We remodeled this 1100 sq feet home in Alameda, CA. We started by changing the layout of the kitchen, built custom cabients for the kitchen - walnut bottom cabiets and popalar wood paint grade paint for the top cabients. We changed the electrical panel, upgraded the plumbing in the entire home, added a classy powder room, brought back the original parkay flooring to life, and painted the interior and exterior.

Midcentury inspired kitchen with custom cabinets
Large diamond tile by fireclay creates a 3D llusions reminiscent of M.C. Escher as well as classic stitch and on point patterns. This is a cut to order by the vendor and is locally made in Northern California.
Bold backsplash
The clients decided to go with a two tone custom kitchen cabinet made by us during their kitchen renovation process. The bottom cabinets are black walnut and the top cabinets are custom cabinets made of poplar wood. The shaker style cabinets wear a 1 1/4" rail to make it look sleeker.

We built custom walnut floating shelves to match the bottom cabinets and then we built an appliance garage where the countertop extends under the cabinet so coffee making and heating food in the microwave can be fun.

The custom floating shelves are mounted with metal brackets so each shelf can hold unto 60lbs each. The base of the sconces from Cedar and Moss also match the stain color of the floating shelves giving it a harmonious look.

Fireclay makes amazing tiles locally in the Bay Area. These diamond shape tiles are giving a 3D effect to our Peach Street kitchen remodel project.

Custom garage appliance cabinet
The doors to the appliance garage revert into the cabinet box to make space on the countertop. This is a great way to have your coffee station organized and tuck away your microwave and yet keep it at a great height so you don't have to bend over when you are trying to warm your food.

This is a great use of a compact space. Having been able to fit both a high functioning kitchen and a great dining space to entertain 8 people at once was a great remodeling goal that was easily achieved with this flawless design by a splendid architect.
