Pedregosa St.
Remodel of a turn of the century Kitchen
The Clients had a lovely 1910's Spanish Bungalow in the Upper West Side of Santa Barbara. We wanted to keep with the original time period, and blend the new with the old.
We made sure that the cabinetry kept consistent, by adding features like a furniture toe-kick below the Farmhouse sink. The drawers and doors were inset into the cabinet's face frame construction. The hardware was all Blum, soft closing.
The tile, by Wizard Industries, had a blue grey translucent crackle finish over a white ceramic base.
The Stove was a vintage O'Keefe & Merritt that the Owners had beautifully restored.
And the final touch was the Big Chill refrigerator. Modern and new, with the look of before.
