This renovation included the relocation of the kitchen, the demolition of a dated dining area, and the rebirth of an open and social space plan. The modernization went beyond the clean minimal lines of the kitchen. It acknowledged the existing outdoor space with the addition of accordion doors. The cabinetry extended into an artists retreat with much desired north light and kitchen honored the baking and cooking skills of the home owner.
