Pembroke Cottage is a full-size reproduction of a 15th century English cottage that still stands in England. It is a two-story structure with a loft that is accessible by the curved staircase you see here. The Pembroke Cottage door was designed and carved from white oak by Lydia Musco in 1997. The design was inspired by a doorway from the Old Sun Inn in Essex England, circa 1360.
