The Clients moved into a brand new home that was built as a spec home. This home will be a work in progress for several years as the clients start to personalize the spaces and add amenities to enhance their lifestyle. We started with the exterior adding a custom designed gated driveway, a large multi-level fountain in the back yard, off the terrace and added plantings that look and feel more Mediterannean.
We moved inside and have been painting and customizing rooms to get the look and feel just right for a young, vibrant family. The husbands study is dark and masculine, the wet bar is now an elegant evening spot to gather for a cocktail before dinner. The home theater was turned into a family room that has both a TV and a projection system, we added blackout drapes and a comfortable sectional with custom cushions to keep things less formal. The kitchen update was subtle but sophisticated - Soft, creamy ivory paint on the walls, custom fabric covered cornices for the kitchen windows, we layered light filtering solar shades, under the cornices, to cut the glare but keep the view. New distressed leather counter stools, custom upholstered wing chairs, with coordinating pillows, at the kitchen table. New single bowl blanco silgranit sink in cafe Brown and Brizo oil rubbed bronze touch faucet complete the transformation. We've added unique lighting fixtures throughout the rooms to further personalize this beautiful home. We will be working with these clients for many years to come.
