Pierce Street


This quiet home in San Francisco combines steel, stainless steel, glass and hardwood to create a clean and traditionally modern feel that connects the entry way staircase to the rooftop garden. Each element was carefully designed and assembled to look as though it belonged within the home’s original character. Blank and Cables fabricated the floating walnut treads, metal staircase and railing at our home facility in Oakland before shipping and assembling the massive staircase on site. The finished product creates a unified aesthetic that opens the home up to much more light and natural beauty.
