This 8th floor apartment in San Francisco wanted a non-traditional staircase to access their rooftop deck which has stunning 360º views of the city. In order to install such an impressive staircase, Blank and Cables had to crane in a complete painted, mild steel structure that served as the stair’s skeleton. Floating wood treads and stainless steel handrails accompany the main stair structure base in this modern apartment with a rooftop getaway.
