This multi-generational family's summer cottage on the beach in Scarborough Maine hadn't seen much change, since it was built in the 1970's. The decision to repaint and change flooring throughout the house, quickly snowballed into a complete gut remodel of the kitchen and 2 bathrooms (bathroom pics to follow!)....
Removing the hallway wall, relocating one bedroom door and replacing badly functioning sliding doors with large awning windows allowed for an entirely new layout and the addition of a pocket door pantry. It's now a great space for cooking as well as entertaining
