Pine Street Renovation
This 1960s row house in the heart of Philadelphia's Society Hill neighborhood needed a major pick-me-up after decades of neglect. inHabit came in with a full interior renovation that put the rooms back together while maintaining much of the home's original layout. One drastic change was a kitchen renovation: the wall dividing the original small kitchen from the dining area was removed to create a large and inviting space. Installing an expansive folding door wall captures southern sunlight at the back of the house. A light and airy color scheme with pops of texture and color add to a relaxed feeling. Custom cabinetry - with features including pull-out spice racks and a concealed appliance garage - maximize every inch of the kitchen's space. inHabit considers all inhabitants - pup Owen enjoys a custom hideaway nook in the base of the banquette.
Bathroom renovations include new layouts and finishes to meet the clients' sophisticated, yet playful, style. A roof deck with mahogany benches provides another outdoor space for entertaining and soaking up the southern sun.
