Pinehurst, Presidential Suite

The Presidential Suite was inspired by Pinehurst founder, James Walker Tufts, and his love of nature. Organic motifs such as leaves and vines are a leitmotif throughout the space and the colors likewise are drawn from nature. Tufts, philosophically a transcendentalist, enlisted Frederick Law Olmstead, the father of American landscape architecture, to plan his resort. Comfortable elegance, luxurious amenities, and state-of-the-art entertainment components blend with the organic design to create a memorable guest experience for residents of the Presidential Suite. It is the first room of its caliber at the resort during its century plus history.
