Plano Kitchen Gets Transitional Face Lift

This 1970's kitchen was old, dated and closed in The family was growing, with a new baby due in only a few months, and wanted to have their ideal kitchen built quickly. They had never worked with a design professional before nor done any sort of remodeling. So establishing trust quickly was key as well as creating a viable design, sourcing, procuring and getting the materials delivered to enable the contractor to finish before the baby came!

In terms of the layout, we gave the family more workable space by relocating the refrigerator and clearing away unnecessary cabinetry. We maximized their storage space by raising the upper cabinet height to the ceiling and using every square inch possible in the lower cabinet cavities.
