This home located in Plano TX was built in 1992 and the bathroom was original to the house. The homeowner wanted to keep the same layout but with some updated finishes a combination of dark and light colors with some natural elements. We slightly enlarged the shower by removing the plastic shower pan and building a custom shower pan, we finished it with pebble stones that match our shampoo niche. To get a better view of the shower and add more symmetry we lowered the height of the pony wall, and added the same stone on the windowsills, vanity counter and shower threshold. To add some warmth we installed a wood look ceramic tile in a herringbone pattern, and some white oak floating shelves on the tub vanity and above the toilet.
