The Karkela team recently completed an extensive interior remodel for this home in Plymouth, MN. The project included remodeling the existing dining room, kitchen, dinette, entry, hall, ½ bath and stairway to the 2nd floor. Our team installed hardwood floors along with cherry-stained millwork and cabinets throughout the home. Enameled woodwork is now featured in the ½ bath and our team remodeled the stairway with cherry railings and metal spindles. There were significant upgrades to the kitchen including granite countertops and a large center island, along with a bench seat at the bay window and a built-in hutch. Our team installed stone over the existing brick fireplace and installed a new cherry mantle. All the existing ceilings now have a knock-down finish, walls were re-painted on the 1st floor, and there are new recess lights in the kitchen.
