A renovation of a 1930's English cottage style house and property in the beautiful neighbourhood of Point Grey within the City of Vancouver. The design aims to re-energize the house by opening the spaces up, and introduce large sliding partitions to allow for multiple uses of the space throughout the day. The use of a simple classic palette of materials will help to unify the living spaces and bring back the flow of the original design intent, while confidently creating a new modern character for the home.

The manner in which we now live and use our homes and the construction practices we employ have radically changed from the time this house was originally built. The design celebrates this difference, expressing the dialogue between old and new, allowing both to co-exist and play off of the other.
