Marilynn Taylor | The Taylored Home (designer) and Allison Allain of Plumb Crazy, Inc (contractor) were consultants on this Irvine Capital renovation from start to finish, and contributed their hands on talents to the finishes. The client was quite clear on his vision, and The Property Sisters helped him see it through. The exterior of the house had a mid century yet traditional feel, with a bit of tudor thrown in. We went for cool neutrals and parisian flare with this French Country interior. The wood floors were refinished in a dark stain, the walls were painted various shades of gray and Marilynn went for wow factors in her lighting design. Walls were removed and entries were widened to offer as much open concept feel as possible. Marilynn put her special hand painting technique to work on the trellis wall design in the powder room and Allison applied her sharp eye to perfecting the finishes.
