This project is unique in the fact that the homeowners wanted to feel like they were living in a beautiful mountain resort even though their private home is in Poway.

As a focal point a new Chimney was designed and installed with a front seating hearth including clad in faux river rock and Ledgerstone equipped with a propane bottle gas starter for ease in lighting. Copper lighting was installed to accentuate the new landscape from daylight to the evening hours.

The project included front and back yards. Project required removing existing lawns and some tree removal. Installation of new drainage, drip irrigation, newly graded planter areas and salt finish concrete as well as brick walkways and stairs. The existing and new concrete in the backyard where sand blasted and stained to all match. Also installed were several patio areas, new moundings and decorative boulders in both front and back yard spaces.

New and old planter areas were replanted using drought tolerant colorful plant choices as per plan using wood chips used from onsite tree chipping to conserve moisture, prevent weeds and create a clean appearance. Four new Deodar Cedar trees were installed.
