Adding a simple but fulfilling under-deck patio to our client's backyard was this project's objective. Our designer's had to fit a compact but functional patio space into the small flat area of this backyard (The other areas sloped aggressively). We didn't want to dominate the space either and balanced the hardscape with small perennial beds and a tight privacy wall of arborvitae where the yard began to slope downhill.
