This was the second addition to the main residence and consisted of 630 square feet. The original house foot print was a split level design and broke up the family and kitchen areas. The purpose of the addition was to combine the family and kitchen areas. The expansion was organized around the new kitchen island after combining the kitchen and dining room to a large kitchen. The island overlooks a large family room with a cathedral ceiling and adjacent dining room and also presents views of the rear yard. The owner’s minimalist style presents simplicity while restraining elaborate decoration. The Addition also included a deck to the rear yard. The project was substantially completed in 2013.
