Situated in the heritage conservation area of Croydon, this house was in desperate need of some renovation love. An impractical floor plan and outdated kitchen and bathroom did not accommodate this young family. Fast forward and the back of the home was removed to make room for a modern extension, whilst modernising the existing part of the home. One of the downfalls of this house was the lack of natural lighting, our approach was to incorporate a pitched style roof that would elevate the feel of the space with higher ceilings but also allowed for the custom gable window to bring in as much natural light possible. Our clients have now settled into this beauty and are stoked with the results.
