The ASR Investment Property: Complete Home Remodel

Wondering what it looks like when the ASR team gets the opportunity to design and build for ourselves? Grab a coffee and get comfy; this is one of our personal property love stories!

In late 2018, Ariel – yep, our founder and principal designer! - and her husband, Robert fell in love with a modest property in Escondido, CA.

Built in 1964 and boasting good bones and a great heart, the home had good-sized yards and an enormous amount of potential. Ariel and Robert went all in – moving into the property in 2019 when it was only half renovated and then navigated the craziness of Covid to complete a full home remodel by 2021.
