This colorful family of 4 wanted to reflect their love of art, color and their personality in a bold way. Long time fans of purple, orange and Moroccan styles, they sought a designer who would help support that adventure vs. the more traveled path of safe neutrals.

Functionally, the kitchen was a closed corral and people needed to pass through this busy space to get to other areas. Removing a wall (but keeping the necessary structural post) and changing the peninsula to an island opened up flow to the other spaces.

The "pantry room" was converted into a much needed drop-spot-mudroom.
