This lovely older couple wanted to stay in their home even as their health brought new challenges. After his stroke and diagnosis of diabetes, his grip and mobility had changed. Her M.S. took her from walker to wheelchair. The doorway was widened from kitchen to dining, the plan opened up (see plans attached). The laundry was also moved from the basement to a main floor hall closet outside the master bedroom.
