The owners needed to replace their failing wood retaining wall. The area above the wall was unusable and difficult to mow. We put a new patio up top, replaced the retaining wall and access stairs with Allan Block Europa blocks in Ashlar Lite pattern.
A small raised garden was built at the end of the patio and garden beds were added to the raised area under the cherry tree.
Cedar trellises were added to the patio to add some interest and to hang lights from. A hose connection was installed under the pavers to allow for a gas fire pit. A custom made cedar arbor with trellis and planters was installed at the entrance to the yard. This gave some definition to the space and after the owners plant some larger shrubs to the sides, it will help to give some privacy from the busy street.
