A large family needed a better common space in their suburban Redmond home. EGA expanded what used to be the family room to include a home theater and kitchen. Directly adjacent is a dining room nook, where the kitchen had previously been jammed in. The master suite was upgraded, and an ADU bathroom was put in for graceful aging in place. Outside, the new addition created deck space off the master suite, and a covered eating area for year-round enjoyment.
