The owners of this 1903 classic Seattle home wanted to bring the attractive but tired structure up to a new standard without losing the charming character. In the process of doing that, the house was literally raised, moved 5 feet closer to the street and then placed back down on a new basement foundation. A buried attached garage was added as was the family room above it. Every area of the house was remodeled and brought to a high standard indeed.
