This backyard was overtaken by the remnants of a concrete foundation from a since removed swimming pool. The clients wanted a usable oasis for their family that incorporated the charming creek that flowed through their backyard. A Cumaru wood deck was built off of their living room. A patio and lawn surrounded the deck below. A dry laid hand built wall supported the lawn and served as a welcoming transition to the more rustic areas of the backyard. A matching Cumaru wood bridge floated over the creek and provided easy access to the sitting area surrounded by redwoods.
