For this project our customer came to us with the idea of wanting to use Anatolia Bianco Ventatino marble z-panels, honed finish, to create his fireplace surround. The idea was to update this fireplace wall to a more contemporary look while still effectively tying in the existing Carrera Marble on-floor hearth. The mantle was fabricated using native Champlain Black Marble with a honed top and rocked faces. We recycled some of the Carrera Marble (which was removed for the veneer) to create the vertical trim used to frame the Anatolia veneer. An awesome collaboration between contractor and client.
