The clients for this new construction project located on the South Shore of Massachusetts wanted their kitchen and bathroom spaces to be traditional but still airy and bright. In the kitchen, the use of Kraftmaid cabinetry in a "canvas" finish around the perimeter of the room and an island in "aged river rock" helped achieve both a bright and warm feeling. The ceramic tile backsplash in dove gray and polished quartz countertops in Cambria-Berwyn with an ogee edge complete the space. The bathroom spaces use cabinetry in traditional silhouettes with updated finishes bringing a sophisticated feeling to the space. Plumbing fixtures inspired by early 20th century designs such as Kohler's Bancroft collection are the finishing touch.
