Regal Heights Kitchen

This Tiny dark Kitchen was in need of a complete overhaul. The only thing that stayed in the same place was the dishwasher. The sink was moved to under the window to have a nice view of the back yard. One of the entry's to the kitchen was closed in providing more useable space, creating more of a galley layout.

After all the bulk heads and lowered ceiling where removed the kitchen already felt bigger.

Standing on cold hard stone tiles for hours while cooking and cleaning up can be hard on your body, A healthy option of cork flooring was put in to add comfort and warmth to this tiny kitchen.

A wooden chair needs some new cushions to make it as comfortable as it is beautiful.

Custom cushions were made with a hanging weight bar so the cushion can easily be put were needed.

The window coverings don't do this beautiful bay window justice. New Romans will do just nicely.

Custom roman blinds were made to soften the window and allow for privacy without blocking all the light.

The side table feels a bit small for the space...perhaps a larger console would look good there.

A new console table and colourful lamp give more space and a more cheerful look.

The fireplace mantel is a bit small and understated for the size of the fireplace, making a new one out of similar wood and colour as the baseboard would make it feel like it's always been there.
