REmodeled Cherry Delight
View the transformation of this typical U shaped layout from the early 1980's to an open, spacious kitchen with cherry cabinetry featuring a grand island. Removing the peninsula took away the division of the space & removed the separate dining area. The new focal point of the room was centered on the entire space. From entrance of the front door, you can now enter to see the decorative hood wall. The table-meets- island design not only provides a work space & ample storage, but it becomes a dining table with traditional chairs & extra seating with stools that can be tucked underneath. All topped with Cambria quartz measuring 129" in length. Soffits were removed, doorways expanded & two rooms became one in this incredible transformation.
