We took off the old deck boards and utilized the existing structure for the new, maintenance free, trex decking.

This is the view of the staircase on the left side of the deck. Just like the other staircase, It also has a light fixed on the railing post for nighttime navigation.

One of the things we like to do is future-proof our work. In this case, we put a skirting all the way around the deck and buried it down a few inches to keep critters out and keep the internal structure of the deck uncompromised.
