Normally it is not a great idea to reuse old cabinets when adding new countertops and appliances. BUT, this couple loved these 20+ year old cabinets and couldn't find anything they liked better after a 5 years search. Because they were extremely well-made cabinets, and because each cabinet with a metal frame allowed for us to reconfigure the doors and drawers, we were able to use the old cabinets in a new configuration.
