For our latest Delaware riverfront home, we borrowed influence from both the farmhouse and cottage vernaculars with a modern twist. The narrow lot and village context requires a particular sensitivity to scale, hence the sweeping low eaves and simple modularity. The master down floor plan is maximized for entertaining culminating in a magnificent high ceilinged great room which opens out to fabulous outdoor terraces and gardens.
