Hurricane Sandy forced the rebuilding of this contemporary Longport, NJ shore, vacation home. After the bottom floor was ravaged by the hurricane in October, our clients knew their grandparents home needed to be razed. Nevertheless, it was still a heart wrenching decision to lose all of the original home's physical memories. OMNIA Group Architects worked tirelessly along with their clients, the builder and the local government to design a custom home that would sustain another horrifc storm and meet the zoning and building codes and the height requirements of Longport, NJ.
