Although the before kitchen in good shape, the dated cabinetry style and layout did not suit the client's lifestyle. The cook top in the small island, backing the sink prevented 2 cooks in the kitchen and the narrow door way to the living room made for cramped entertaining.
The after kitchen is stretched into existing breakfast area, creating more counter space and counter top breakfast. A wider door way allowed for better flow into the kitchen and to the outside for entertaining.
