First impressions mean a lot. This space is the first room you enter when you walk into this beautiful home in Riverbend. Around the fireplace we sourced 800 year old fir straight from Vancouver Island to provide the wood surround. An asymmetrical mantle balances the wood and mosaic tile hearth. It’s a touch of old with a touch of new. With a full redesign of the fireplace, new paint, flooring and ceiling we were able to give these clients a elegant new living room. It has now become a great space to enjoy friends and family or grab a book and cozy up by the fire. We were able to keep the wood burning fireplace and maintain the warm atmosphere to the room. There is nothing like the sound and feel of a wood fire and having a great space to enjoy it in.
