Roswell Galley Kitchen
This Kitchen has become an entertaining dream. The Breakfast Room has been eliminated in lieu of a larger Island and Coffee Bar.
The original Kitchen was very small, had dark maple cabinets, a two-level Island, busy granite countertops, and a limestone tile floor.
The stone floor is now a rich, dark wood that continues throughout the first floor. The Wood-Mode perimeter cabinetry is Nordic White on Maple and the Island Matte Twilight on Maple. The new lighter Granite is White Ice. The Wood-Mode Coffee Bar is a combination of the two wood finishes.
The cooktop area is now the full length of the cooking wall and the cabinetry height is taller – eight feet high plus a large finished crown moulding. A custom Wood-Mode Hood in the combination of the two finishes becomes the Focal Point of the Kitchen. The elegant Sonoma glass tile mural draws your eye to this area. The entire cooking area has large drawers for much needed storage.
The Island stretches the full length of the Kitchen. The Single Bowl Franke Fireclay undermount sink and Brizo “Smart Touch” Technology Faucet are located on the Island as well as the Sharp Microwave Drawer and Bosch Dishwasher. The Island has additional storage on the front and back sides. There is easily seating for six. The Kitchen-Aid Cabinet Depth Refrigerator and Pantry are adjacent to the Island.
The Coffee Bar is an additional place for serving and entertaining. The antique glass door cabinets have vertical built-in Hafele LED lighting with glass shelves for display. The matching wood corbels give this area a furniture hutch look.
