The clients, an interior designer and contractor, had the vision to open up the closed kitchen and make it a large great room with kitchen, living room and dining area all open to enjoy majestic ocean views. We created a functional, large u-shaped kitchen with two casual bar seating areas, a wine/coffee bar, and combined both modern appliances with more rustic elements like the beams and posts. Soft grey, white and black and earth tones for the cabinetry, countertops, floors and furniture allow the green and blue colours from the garden and views to take centre stage.
